Wakanda Forever New Trailer Shows New Panther, More Namor

The new trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever introduces the new Panther and shows us Namor's ankle wings.

Surprise, there's a new poster too.

And rotated, so you can have a look at Namor (Tenoch Huerta) and his sub-mariners, which according to the synopsis are called Talokan rather than Atlanteans – possibly to put some clear blue water between Namor and his DCU counterpart, Aquaman.

Interestingly, in Aztec mythology Talokan is another spelling for Tlālōcān, a subterranean otherworld or underworld ruled over by Tlāloc, the god of rain, and Chalchiuhtlicue, the goddess of rivers, seas, waters, and storms. It is inhabited by the souls of those who died from drowning.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is in cinemas on November 11th, 2022.
