Stargate Legacy

Celebrate 25 Years of Stargate

In everything we do, we want to raise the level of content and community for Stargate fandom. The Companion is smarter, more fun, and cares more, bringing you closer to stars and showrunners in unique ways you can’t find or imagine anywhere else.

Twenty-five years from the Stargate SG-1 premiere, co-creator Brad Wright and Jack O’Neill star Richard Dean Anderson reunite to reminisce about their days under Cheyenne Mountain.

Support Stargate, Support The Companion

Since our inception, we’ve been driven to deliver experiences that elevate the quality of content for Stargate and science-fiction fandom on the internet, bringing you closer to the stars and showrunners of the stories that matter most.

Brad Wright’s podcast Conversations in Sci-Fi has seen him catch up with the cast, crew, and creators he’s worked with over his long career in science-fiction, revealing secrets about Stargate’s past, and giving exclusive updates for the franchise’s future.

We collaborated with Google A.I.’s Laurence Moroney on two iterations for Stargate A.I., a Webby Award Honored reunion and table-read, reuniting Richard Dean Anderson, Amanda Tapping, Michael Shanks, David Hewlett, and Jewel Staite in character for the first time in over a decade.

We’ve hosted live events and Q&As with Amanda Tapping and Jewel Staite on Uplifting Women in Film & TV, we counted down the best fight scenes with Joseph Mallozzi in Gaters Gonna Rate, and we hosted a VIP Experience Michael Shanks: My Lessons in Acting for 20 guests.

We continue to publish articles every day, including a fortnightly series from Dial the Gate’s David Read on Stargate Philosophy, alongside extensive emotional long-reads, in-depth analyses, and diverse perspectives from within both fandom and your favorite franchises.
