Louise Fletcher, who earned an Academy Award as Nurse Ratched in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (1975), passed away on September 23 at 88.
Star Trek fans will recognize her as Star Trek: Deep Space Nine‘s fundamentalist Kai Winn / Vedek Winn in 14 episodes. She also appeared in the anthology series The Twilight Zone and Rad Bradbury Theater.
