Kurt Russell (Escape from New York, The Thing) and his son Wyatt Russell (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) have been cast in Apple TV+’ live-action Godzilla.
Kurt and Wyatt Russell join the previously announced cast of Anna Sawai, Ren Watabe, Kiersey Clemons, Joe Tippett, and Elisa Lasowski in the show. A press release from Apple TV+ gave a synopsis of the as-yet-untitled show:
Following the thunderous battle between Godzilla and the Titans that leveled San Francisco and the shocking new reality that monsters are real, the series explores one family’s journey to uncover its buried secrets and a legacy linking them to the secret organization known as Monarch.
