Between Wyvern Gaming’s new Stargate table-top RPG, the ongoing range of novels, and of course, hopes for a brand new TV series that we broke the news of right here, it’s clear there’s still plenty of space left in the canon left to explore. It certainly helps that Stargate, whilst under the broader umbrella of military sci-fi, can fit so many styles of storytelling into its playlist, from body horror to swashbuckling adventure to soap opera.
As a roleplayer, I got my start on the worlds of Fighting Fantasy and Lone Wolf gamebooks (aw jeez, I wrote this nine years ago 🤯), but as a writer, I honed my skills dabbling in fanfiction (you won’t find any online, I’ve taken care of that 🤫). To cut a long story short, here is a brief snippet of Escape from the Hive, a 100% unauthorized survival horror choose-your-own-adventure game.
The full adventure is nearly complete (sign up here and be one of the first to play it), but right now I need your help.
Please give this first snippet a beta test and hit me with your comments, criticisms, feedback, and canon policing.
The full adventure is coming very soon to Companion members. By signing up you also gain access to our live video interview with Amanda Tapping and get your chance to put your questions to the actor and director behind Stargate‘s Sam Carter!
